11/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Community of Consumer Cooperatives (Euro Coop) has welcomed the position of the European Parliament on the cloning of animals for food purposes (EUROPE 9732). According to the Secretary General of Euro Coop, Rodrigo Gouveia: “The European Parliamentary assembly has given a strong signal against cloning which the Commission cannot ignore”.
