Parliament provides itself with stricter rules on written questions - fewer substantial debates in plenary sessions

Brussels, 09/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 8 July, the European Parliament adopted the report of Richard Corbett (PES, UK), which amends the EP's internal regulation on written questions from MEPs to the Community institutions, debates during plenary sessions, and own initiative reports.
