Brussels, 09/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - Although the G8 summit in Toyako (Japan) did not manage to convince African leaders of the timeliness of imposing sanctions against the regime of Robert Mugabe, leaders from eight of the richest countries on the planet (Germany, Canada, US, UK, France, Italy, Japan and Russia) agreed on denying this regime any legitimacy and supported the adoption of new sanctions against the regime if the UN Security Council gives authorisation.
