Brussels, 02/07/2008 (Agence Europe) -According to an estimate published by Eurostat on Tuesday 1 July, the rate of unemployment in the eurozone stood at 7.2% in May 2008, unchanged compared to April. In May 2007, the level was 7.5%. In the EU27, the unemployment rate was 6.8% in May 2007, compared to 6.7% in April. The figure was 7.2% in May 2007.
