02/07/2008 (Agence Europe) -Maltese MEP Simon Busuttil (EPP-ED) was recently appointed European Parliament rapporteur on the common immigration policy. He will be responsible for compiling a report on the communication presented by the Commission on 17 June entitled “A common immigration policy for Europe: principles, actions and tools” (EUROPE 9683 and 9684).
