European Council, EU-Russia Summit, oil prices, energy market and intercultural dialogue on plenary agenda

Brussels, 12/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament will meet in plenary session in Strasbourg from Monday 16 to Thursday 19 June. Statements from the council and Commission are expected on preparations for the European Council of 19-20 June and the EU-Russia Summit of 26-27 June. The Council and Commission will also have discussions with MEPs on measures to be taken against rising oil prices. Parliament will have a joint discussion on the energy market.
