12/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - During a meeting with the Chinese foreign affairs minister on Wednesday, the spokesperson for Javier Solana, the high representative for the CFSP, declared that Solana would be travelling to Iran on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June for discussions about the Iranian nuclear programme. During the weekend, Mr Solana will be meeting with the Iranian foreign affairs minister to whom he will present the “Six's” (Germany, China, US, France, United Kingdom and Russia) final offer. On his visit to Germany on Wednesday 11 June, US President George W. Bush stressed that all options remained open for convincing Tehran to suspend its uranium enrichment programme. (A.B./transl.rh)
