Consultation on revision of decisions instituting three European committees of national regulators

Brussels, 26/05/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has launched a public consultation on the role of the three European committees of national regulators in the sectors of transferable securities (CESR), banks (CEBS) and insurance (CEIOPS). It is confident that this consultation, which will end on 18 July 2008, will lead to a modification of the decisions instituting these three committees (2001/527/EC for the CESR, 2004/5/EC for the CEBS and 2004/6/EC for the CEIOPS), moving...
