26/05/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, the EU External Relations Council welcomed the « peaceful and orderly” way in which the general election took place in Serbia on 11 May. Ministers welcomed the victory of the pro-European parties around President Boris Tadic and hoped that a government would soon be formed to engage “constructively” in the process of Serbia's stabilisation and association with the EU.
