26/05/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 23 May, the European Commission gave clearance to the proposed concentration whereby the undertaking Sofinco SA (France), a subsidiary of credit Agricole SA, plans to take over control of the whole of the undertaking Agos SpA (Italy), by way of purchase of shares. Sofinco is an undertaking specialised in consumption credit in France and internationallly. Agos is an undertaking specialised in consumption credit in Italy. (O.L.)
