French power company EDF talks up nuclear power during Andris Piebalg's visit to Chooz nuclear power plant

Brussels, 07/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - EU Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs visited the Chooz nuclear power station in eastern France on 1 April 2008, where French energy company EDF seized the opportunity to sing the praises of nuclear power as a way for the EU to meet the energy security of supply challenges and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
