Brussels, 04/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 3 April 2008, the European Commission decided to approve the planned acquisition by the Dutch company Heineken of the businesses of UK-based brewer Scottish & Newcastle in Belgium, Finland, Portugal and the United Kingdom.
