04/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European social partners - ETUC for the trade unions and CEEP for public enterprises - have adopted a joint declaration on the climate/energy package, focussing on employment issues. ETUC and the CEEP, expressing their support for the package, ask the Commission to put in place a consultative committee of the European trans-sectoral social partners on climate change policy.
