Among the ten major energy actors in Europe, E.ON from Germany has risen the most on the stock exchange (18% in a year despite the crisis). Its competitors have lost around 6%. Enel even fell by 15%, following concern by analysts about the heavy debts resulting from the Endesa buyout - a transaction carried out with its Spanish partner Acciona for €42.5. E.ON is therefore catching up with EDF, which currently tops the list of European electric and gas companies.
