European producers condemn 'scaremongering' report about pesticides in wine

Brussels, 31/03/2008 (Agence Europe) - European wine producers are stunned at the publication on 26 March 2008 of a report about pesticides in wine (see Europe 9630). The Committee of Professional Agricultural Organisations in the EU (COPA) and the General Confederation of Agricultural Co-operatives in the EU (COGECA) issued a press release on 27 March describing the report by NGO PAN Europe as 'scaremongering'.
