31/03/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 28 March 2008, the European Commission authorised the planned joint acquisition of a portfolio of hotels in France and Switzerland owned by Accor Global by two French companies, AXA Real Estate Investment Managers France (controlled by AXA Group) and the Caisse des Depots et Consignations (CDC). CDC is an insurance, real estate management and capital and services investment company. The deal was processed using the EU's simplified merger procedure. (C.D.)
