19/12/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 18 December, Javier Solana welcomed the exchange of ratification instruments between Latvia and Russia regarding the border agreement between the two countries. In a press release, the EU foreign policy chief said that entry into force of this agreement is a major step in bilateral relations between Latvia and Russia, and thus also for EU-Russia relations.
