28/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 27 November, the European Commission gave its blessing to the planned acquisition of the Spanish and Italian subsidiaries of the Swedish telecommunications group Tele2 AB by the British telecommunications group Vodafone. The parties' activities overlap only on broadband Internet provision, and even in this area, their market share is minimal. (C.D.)
