Launch of four programmes to improve quality of life in Slovak regions

Brussels, 30/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - A ceremony took place in Košice, Slovakia, on Thursday 25 October to mark the adoption of four Operational Programmes (OPs) for Slovakia, to cover cohesion policy implementation for 2007-2013. Danuta Hübner, European Commissioner for Regional Policy, signed the programmes in the presence of Marian Janušek, Minister of Construction and Regional Development, and ¼ubomír Vážny, Minister of Transport.
