30/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 29 October, the European Commission adopted a report describing the activities carried out by the Directorate General for Energy and Transport (DG TREN) in 2006 as part of the Commission's activities under the Euratom Treaty. The Commission's work programme relates to nuclear safety, investment, joint undertakings, safeguards and external relations. The report also includes a summary of the activities of the Euratom Supply Agency (ESA). (L.C.)
