Environment committee more demanding than Council over reductions to air pollution caused by most minute particles

Brussels, 11/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - Parliament's environment committee, chaired by Miroslav Ouzyky (EPP-ED, Czech Republic) wants revision of Community legislation on air control to provide both an opportunity for making a concerted attack on the most dangerous particles to human health and an occasion for tackling the difficulty of some member states respecting current legislation.
