07/09/2007 (Agence Europe) - After examination under the simplified merger control procedure, the European Commission granted clearance on Friday 7 September to acquisition of sole control of Ovako Holding BV of Sweden by German steel company Pampus Stahlbeteiligungs GmbH. Ovako produces special long steels and processed steel products for the car and engineering industries. (cd)
