07/09/2007 (Agence Europe) - MEPs have published an open letter calling on European businesses to withdraw from Iran. A press release published by Paulo Casaca (PES, Portugal) explains: 'An appeal under our patronage and signed by more than 130 MEPs and members of national parliaments called upon the EU and its member states to fully implement UN Security Council resolutions and encourage all European businesses to disengage from economic activities in the Islamic Republic of Iran.'
