Brussels, 01/08/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 31 July, the European Commission authorised plans for the acquisition of the German company Bayern-Chemie Gesellschaft für flugchemische Antriebe mbH by the MBDA group, which are both active in the armaments sector. The nature of their clientele (Defence Ministries) and the existence of a broad choice of suppliers would prevent the new entity from abusing any dominant position.
