SOFINCO, a subsidiary of French CREDIT AGRICOLE, is to acquire all the capital of INTERBANK and DMC GROEP, a subsidiary of the Dutch firm, ABN AMRO. Already present on the market with RIBANK, SOFINCO will become the leading consumer credit provider in the country with a market share of 14%.
