01/08/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 1 August, the European Commission authorised the proposed joint control of the Italian tourist complex management company, Turismo S.p.A., by fellow Italians Gabetti Property Solutions S.p.A., Pirelli & C. Real Estate S.p.A., (both of which are active in the management of real estate investment) and Marcegaglia S.p.A. (steel sector), with a stake for Sviluppo Italia S.p.A., the national agency for the economic development of disadvantaged areas. The operation was examined under the simplified procedure. (cd)
