BSKYB - BRITISH SKY BROADCASTING, the main British pay television operator (MURDOCH group), is to buy up AMSTRAD, the consumer electronics company, for the sum of £125 million (i.e. 150 pence per share). Rupert Murdoch and his group NEWS CORP are, moreover, to take over the DOW JONES group, which publishes The Wall Street Journal, for the sum of $5.6 billion.
