Commission launches investigation into state aid granted to Irish bus companies

Brussels, 19/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - Following a complaint submitted by a representative body of private bus operators, the Commission, on 18 July, decided to open a formal investigation regarding the annual operating compensation payments for urban, suburban and regional bus transport services, as well as investment and training grants to the companies Irish Bus and Dublin Bus.
