Advocate General says Italy has to apply public tender procedures to purchase of helicopters used by the government

Luxembourg, 10/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - In conclusions published on Tuesday 10 July in Case C-337/05 (the Commission vs. Italy) European Court of Justice Advocate General Jan Mazak confirmed the validity of the European Commission's views. The Commission accuses Italy of failing to meet EU regulations and open up for public tender the supply of helicopters used by various government departments.
