New conditions for granting aid to fishing fleet

Brussels, 10/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 10 July, the EU Council of Ministers adopted without debate the regulation updating the conditions for payment of financial aid to fishing fleets. The aim of the regulation is to adjust certain provisions of the 2002 regulation on aid for fleets to take into account the new European Fisheries Fund (EFF) covering the period 2007-2013 (EUROPE 9393).
