10/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - French Socialist MEP Martine Roure has been elected Vice-President of the European Parliament, replacing Pierre Moscovici who left the European Parliament to become a French parliamentarian after the French general elections of 17 June this year. Like her predecessor, Roure will chair the working group created to look at MEPs' terms and conditions, additional pension funds and the terms and conditions of parliamentary assistants.
