18/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 18 June, the European Commission gave the green light to the acquisition of sole control of Alliance Boots plc of the UK by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co, L.P. (KKR) of the US and Mr Stefano Pessina of the UK, through an investment vehicle, AB Acquisitions Limited. KKR is a private equity investment company.
