CEMR wants to maintain progress made in constitutional treaty for local and regional governments

Brussels, 18/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - A few days before the European Council kicks off on Thursday and Friday (21-22 June), the steering committee of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) sent a letter to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, in which it makes another appeal to maintain the progress made for local and regional governments in the draft Constitutional Treaty.
