Luxembourg, 19/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - The Advocate General, Dámaso Ruiz-Jarabo Colomer, presented his conclusions in the case C-374/05, on 13 February. He has ruled that Directive 2001/83/EC (instituting a Community code on medicines for human use) aims at a total harmonisation of European rules, and he has therefore opposed to certain additional measures laid down in German legislation.
