Brussels, 29/01/2007 (Agence Europe) - Negotiations between the European Parliament's political groups on the chairmanships of the twenty Parliamentary committees and two sub-committees (human rights and security and defence) have entered the home straight (see EUROPE 9352). Midday on Tuesday 20 January is the deadline for the submission of requests from the political groups on the make-up of the bureaux of the Parliamentary committees.
