29/01/2007 (Agence Europe) - As part of the liberalisation of rail freight transport, the EU is holding a conference in Brussels on Tuesday 30 January to take stock of the situation and the latest developments in the sector. Stakeholders from all of the rail sector will take part, including representatives of the infrastructure and rolling stock companies, the UNIFE and the UIC, along with representatives of the European Commission and the German presidency of the EU.
