29/01/2007 (Agence Europe) - Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner will be meeting Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Andrij Klynev on Tuesday 30 January to speak essentially of the implementation of the action plan on European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP). They will also discuss political and economic reform, energy, negotiations underway on the country's accession to the WTO, as well as preparations with a view to the forthcoming negotiations on a new EU/Ukraine partnership agreement. After adoption by the Council of the negotiating brief, talks on this agreement are expected to begin on 6 February in Kiev (see EUROPE 9349). (hb)
