Portuguese government's assurances not enough - Barroso is called upon to give evidence before EP committee of inquiry

Brussels, 07/12/2006 (Agence Europe) - The assurances given by the Portuguese government regarding alleged illegal CIA activity on Portuguese soil are “not sufficient”, Portuguese MEP Carlos Coelho (EPP-ED), who chairs the temporary committee of inquiry into this matter, said regretfully on Wednesday.
