Busy agenda for Transport Council on 11-12 December

Brussels, 07/12/2006 (Agence Europe) - A full agenda awaits EU transport ministers at their meeting on 11-12 December. The Council will begin on 11 December with maritime transport, trying to agree general approach to the draft directive on port State control. The following day, the council will look at the other forms of transport and try to agree on a proposal for the retrofitting of mirrors on older heavy goods vehicles registered in the Community.
