31/07/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Common Action 2006/523/CFSP, amending the mandate for the European Union Special Representative (EUSR) in Bosnia-Herzegovina was published in Official Journal L 205 on 27 July. It stipulates that the mandate for Christian Schwarz-Schilling was amended to include, as a policy objective, support to planning for a reinforced EUSR office in the context of the closure of the Office of the High Representative” of the international community in Bosnia foreseen on 30 June 2007. The financial reference amount intended to cover expenditure related to the mandate of the EUSR is €1 million.
