Valerio Zanone takes over from Giorgio Napolitano

Brussels, 31/07/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 27 July the European Movement in Italy elected as its president Valerio Zanone, who will take over from Giorgio Napolitano, who is now President of the Republic. Anita Garibaldi Jallet was elected Secretary General and Giampiero Orsello, Domenico Fisichella and Sergio Pistone were confirmed as vice-presidents, Leonardo Cesaretti as Deputy Secretary General and Cristiano Zagari as Head of external relations.
