€31 million water sector loan for Mozambique

Luxemburg, 24/07/2006 (Agence Europe) - The EIB has granted a loan of €31 million to a project to improve water supply of the Maputo metropolitan area in Mozambique. The project's innovative financial approach combines, for the first time in an ACP country, a long-term concessional loan with the largest grant to date from the ACP-EU Water Facility.
