10/07/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has cleared the proposed acquisition of sole control of Inco Limited of Canada by Teck Cominco Limited, also of Canada. Inco is an international mining and metals group and Teck is active mainly in mining, smelting and refining of zinc. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
