Second Polish quota allocation plan is to take into account data now available on effective emissions during 2005-2007 period

Brussels, 06/07/2006 (Agence Europe) - The first Polish National Allocation Plan for greenhouse gas emissions established for the period 2005-2007 in Directive 2003/87/EC (EUROPE 9224), covers 459 industrial installations. These installations have been allocated 90% of Poland's total annual average allocation, amounting to 213.6 million allowances for CO2 emissions.
