Scientists confirm risks linked to use of sunbeds - Commission announces various measures

Brussels, 06/07/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 6 July, the European Commission published an opinion of the Scientific Committee on Consumer Products (SCCP) on the use of ultraviolet radiation (UVR) devices such as tanning lamps and sunbeds, which confirms the risks related to the use of such devices. The Commission has announced very measures to combat this risk as a result.
