06/07/2006 (Agence Europe) - Giuliano Amato, Italian Interior Minister, signed a declaration in Berlin on 4 July on Italy's accession to the Prüm Treaty between seven EU countries since 2005 - France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Austria - to strengthen their cooperation against terrorism, organised crime and illegal immigration.
