Brussels, 28/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - With the forthcoming informal “Justice and Home Affairs” Council in September 2006 in Tampere, the European Commission has carried out a political assessment of the programmes accomplished in implementing The Hague programme of 2004 in which it underlines that a vast number of the “acquis” in the domains of police and legal cooperation in penal affairs (third pillar) remain in the area of “virtual reality”.
