Commission launches public consultation on organ donation

Brussels, 28/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 27 June, the European Commission launched a public consultation exercise on future EU action in organ donation and transplantation. The aim of this consultation exercise is to identify the main problems encountered in organ donation and transplantation to determine whether measures should be taken at EU level to help solve the problems and to invite ideas on what EU initiatives could be taken.
