Statement by Commissioner Frattini on occasion of International Day for Elimination of Racial Discrimination

Brussels, 21/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - Speaking on behalf of the Commission on 21 March on the occasion of the International Day against Racism, the European Commissioner for Justice and Home Affairs, Franco Frattini, condemned all forms of racism and xenophobia. In a press release, he recalled the Commission's firm commitment to work with the Council and European Parliament to achieve this objective as soon as possible.
