GENERAL NEWS / (eu) council of europe

21/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 16 March, the Committee of Ministers of the 46-nation Council of Europe adopted a convention on the avoidance of statelessness in relation to state succession. This is the 200th Council of Europe convention and will be opened for signature at the 116th session of the Committee of Ministers in Strasbourg on 18 and 19 May.
